People ask what inspires me?

My favorite activity is walking in my neighborhood looking at beautiful trees and nature. It begins on my early morning walks and photographing things that would be considered ordinary.

For me, discarded trash, abandoned buildings, machines and nature are intriguing and in my mind's eye it is another kind of beauty.

One summer I photographed all the “everyday” objects I found on my walk. It became a photography exhibition.

It was simply titled “The Temporary Beauty of Everyday Things.

Here are some of the images. . .

A Poetic Glimpse of Poetry. . .

Sometimes, an image compels me to write. The art of storytelling is an expression through words and images.

Here are a few excerpts. . .

I am a building in Ando’s heart.

I am neither here nor there.

Light is my muse.

I pierce the void gently.

My thoughts transcend time.

I am ascending.

I am patient.

I am the chalk that guides Ando’s hands.

Texture is my form.

I am whispering my thoughts.

I am here.
